What an incredible day, incredible location, incredible people! JC and Brian got married on a family friends property on Kootenay Lake this past weekend, followed by a reception at Brian’s parents house. The weather forcast for the day was a bit daunting – a high of 15, rain, wind and thunder! But if you can believe it – the weather turned out to be nothing short of perfect, right up until dinner was served. These two were super fun and relaxed and pretty much game for anything - I had a blast hanging out with them!

Last July, I had the honour of photographing Charles and Kyla’s wedding in Queen’s Bay near Nelson. When Kyla told me in December that her and Charles were expecting - I asked her if she would be interested in having her pregnancy documented….and to my delight, she said yes! We did the first session in March when she began to start showing…and then a second one in May….and just last night, we did some photos with her and Charles at their home. Here you’ll find a couple images from the first two shoots, and a selection from our session last evening. I’m so excited for them! Enjoy!
