What a high energy wedding! Mark and Dora got married this past Saturday and it was a party! I had the pleasure of spending the entire day with these two and their stunning wedding party in Windsor, Ontario. The day started off quite relaxed at each of their parents homes where they got ready…and ended with a high-energy reception at the Caboto Club. Highlights included an irish jig by Mark’s 92 year old Grandfather and a performance of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believein’” by Mark and Dora. We spent the afternoon wondering around the Navy Yard in Amherstburg, drinking champagne and sharing some laughs….and of course, taking some photos.

I love my job.
I don’t know if I mention that enough.
I get to spend my weekends with people on one of the happiest days of their lives. I really believe that being surrounded by so much love and joy has got to be good for my soul.
From the moment I saw Sarah at their house that morning, until I left David and Sarah at their reception – they had smiles plastered from ear to ear. When they walked down the isle as husband and wife, I watched their smiles turn to giggles and their giggles turn to tears and finally their tears turn into an emotion embrace and a kiss. It was impossible not to get teary eyed watching these two.
They had a beautiful ceremony in the gardens at Blaylock Mansion, got whisked away in an antique car, followed by tea and photos on the property and then a reception at the Hume Hotel. Here is a sneak peak:
